Library closed starting April 23, 2021
In response to increased government restrictions to limit the spread of COVID-19, in-person access to Library spaces, collections, and services is currently suspended until further notice. Our staff and librarians continue to support the teaching, learning, and research needs of the UTM community throughout this closure. Please contact us with any questions or to request support.
Loans extended to September 29, 2021
In response to continued government restrictions related to the pandemic, we have extended loans on all Library items to September 29, 2021.
This service is currently suspended until further notice. Students, faculty, staff, and external borrowers with valid University of Toronto library cards can now request books from the Library stack collection for contactless pickup while the Library is open.
Through the HathiTrust ETAS, current students and faculty can read digitized versions of more than 3 million of the Libraries’ in-copyright print books published before 2004.

As the situation continues to evolve, we may make further changes to Library spaces and services. Please monitor this page for the most up-to-date information.
In-person access to FLC spaces and technology is unavailable, but we are here to support you! Please email FLC staff with any questions, concerns, or requests.
Extended loans: We have extended loans on all items to September 29, 2021 and will continue to adapt our policies as the situation develops.
Late fees: You will not be charged late fees at this time. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns about late fees.
Book returns: You do not need to return your books at this time. However, you may return materials to the book drop at any time.
Scan and Deliver: This service is currently suspended until further notice. Current students, faculty, and staff can now request scanned copies of print journal articles, with an access link sent via email, using the same process for requesting materials through the Curbside Pickup Service.
