How to Comply with the Tri-Agency Open Access Policy

The new Tri-Agency Open Access Policy requires grant recipients to ensure that any peer-reviewed journal publications arising from Agency-supported research are freely accessible within 12 months of publication.

This policy applies to all grants awarded by NSERC or SSHRC from May 1, 2015 and onward; by CIHR from January 1, 2008 and onward. Researchers holding previously awarded grants are encouraged to adhere to the requirements of this policy.

Contact us to learn how you can comply by depositing your articles to TSpace.

Consult the University of Toronto Libraries’ About the Tri-Agency Open Access Policy page for more information on compliance, copyright, Open Access publishers discounts, and how the library can help to get you started.
