History

The Li Koon Chun Finance Learning Centre opened its doors in August 2008 in the Hazel McCallion Academic Learning Centre. Seeded with a gift from Dr. Ronald Fook Shiu Li in honour of his late father Li Koon Chun, the Centre was created in partnership with the UTM Library and UTM’s Department of Management.  Additional funding support was provided by the Certified General Accountants of Ontario.

In September 2014, the Finance Learning Centre relocated to the Innovation Complex and broadened its mandate to support the learning, teaching and research needs of all IMI undergraduate and graduate programs.
