The Basics of Chicago Style Citations Session 3

Your professor requires you to cite using the Chicago Style for the upcoming paper. Do not panic! After this session you will be comfortable asking about “which” Chicago style (Author-Date OR Notes-Bibliography), and how to format basic in-text citations and bibliography entries. Most important, you will start seeing why this initially confusing style may have been chosen.

The University of Toronto Libraries is introducing a new search system called LibrarySearch. Join us to learn how to discover books, e-books, journal articles, and more for your research, teaching, and learning. Participants will learn how to navigate the new search interface including how to use new features to access full text, to create citations, and to save your searches, and how to use advanced searching features like Boolean operators.
