Tim Stelzer is a Professor of Physics at the University of Illinois. He is a member of the Physics Education Group and has led in the development and implementation of tools for assessing the effectiveness of educational innovation in physics introductory courses. He is regularly cited on the University’s list of “Teachers Ranked as Excellent by Their Students”. Professor Stelzer will be discussing the pedagogical issues involving the use of clickers as a tool for student engagement and active learning, focusing on examples of innovative use. He will also be discussing upcoming improvements to i>clicker and how your input can contribute to future improvements and upgrades.
