Can you use PowerPointâ„¢? If you can, then this talk will show you how to make your own animations to enhance your lectures and improve the learning experience for your students. After viewing some animations, we will follow an easy step-by-step method for making them. We will then learn how to convert them to the most appropriate viewing format for your specific needs or preferences so you can present them on-line or during class. We will also look at how easy it is to revise these animations to adapt to new information, to changes in concepts or for use in more advanced classes. Finally, the value of animations in teaching will be discussed.
