Mitten Tree at UTM Library

Donate your winter accessories to support women and their families through the UTM Library Mitten Tree! Instead of decorating a tree with ornaments, a mitten tree is covered with winter accessories such as scarves, hats, and mittens or gloves. Donations of non-perishable food are also welcome.

Mitten Tree 2023

At the end of the holiday season, the Library will send all donations to Embrave, an organization supporting women and families who are leaving abusive situations. Embrave is inclusive of all women facing violence—including two-spirit, trans and non-binary people—and their children; supports are provided to survivors with or without children.

Please join us in supporting our community this holiday season!
