Tours / Instruction Sessions

Welcome to the UTM Library

UTM offers library tours and instruction sessions to visitors. During the guided library tour, visitors will be given a brief overview of the library’s services, resources and facilities, such as the:  

  • AstraZeneca Canada Centre for Information and Technological Literacy
  • Li Koon Chun Finance Learning Centre
  • RBC Learning Commons
  • Robert Gillespie Academic Skills Centre
  • Avie Bennett Community Novelties Reading Area
  • Bentall Capital Rooftop Garden
  • Amgen Canada Inc. Smart Classrooms

Tours are approximately 30 minutes in duration. Instruction sessions are 1-2 hours maximum (this includes 30 minutes for tours when applicable), and will focus on effectively using the library catalogue, print and electronic resources.

High school teachers/librarians must accompany students during library tours and instruction sessions.

The maximum class size that can be accommodated is 46 students.
