Hide or Show a Grade Column

We recommend that you hide Grade Center columns from students until all marks have been entered and checked for accuracy. You can easily determine if a column is visible to students by looking at column names in grade center.

• Column without icons are visible to students. 
• Columns with icons are invisible to students.

Change Column Visibility

1. Click the contextual menu button beside a column name in Grade Center.
2. From the drop-down menu select Show/Hide to Users. This menu item will toggle the column visibility on or off.

Hiding the Total Column

If the column you're trying to hide is the Total column, you won't find the Show/Hide to Users option, so you can hide it from students the long way:

1. Click the contextual menu button beside a column name in Grade Center.
2. From the drop-down menu select Edit Column Information.
3. On the next page scroll down to Options. Under Show This Column to Students select the appropriate option.
   1. No will make the column invisible to students;
   2. Yes will make the column visible to students.
4. To finish, click Submit.
